This saves the picture that you're working so that you can use it with other applications or continue to work on it later. You can save pictures as either a Microsoft Windows Bitmap (BMP) or a Graphical Interlace Format (GIF). Remember, if your image was generated with a Logo program you really don't need to save it as an image unless you want to use the image in another application such as Microsoft Paint or as a wallpaper.
